Ruth Faulkner is an award-winning B2B editor, journalist and communications professional with over a decade of experience, primarily focused on the jewellery, watch and retail sectors. As Managing Editor of Retail Jeweller, she oversees the brand’s editorial strategy, commercial activity and industry-leading events programme – including the UK Jewellery Awards and the UK Jewellery Festival.
A passionate supporter of the UK jewellery industry, Ruth is a council member of the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council, a regular speaker and panellist at trade events, and a career mentor for students at the University of Exeter. She believes trade journalism should elevate the industries it serves, and is committed to fostering innovation, knowledge-sharing and growth across the jewellery sector.
Under her leadership, Retail Jeweller has gone from strength to strength, expanding into new digital, live and bespoke formats while maintaining its position as the UK’s most respected industry title.
