Gem-A is the world’s longest established provider of gemmology education, providing professional and globally recognised qualifications internationally. The Association offers a range of learning opportunities, including a beginner’s level, online only course GemIntro, ideally suited to retail sales professionals and those who are new to the trade. Our online and in-person Gemmology Foundation, Gemmology Diploma and Diamond Diploma courses are the world’s most respected and provide essential qualifications and hands-on experience for valuers, independent retailers, jewellers, and gemstone dealers. We also offer membership opportunities,  gemmological instruments, a number of events throughout the year, as well as two internationally distributed publications, The Journal of Gemmology and Gems&Jewellery.
